If your figure drawing skills are in need of a little boost, I highly recommend Jack Hamm's Drawing the Head and Figure--you can find it on Amazon.com for under $10 (an absolute bargain when it comes to art books...), and it contains a ton of figure drawing instruction, techniques, and examples.
